Choose one of our timed stream challenge options: stream for 6, 12, 24 hours or set your own challenge.
This is your challenge, and you can adapt it however you like. The most important thing is to stay safe, stay healthy and have fun while you do it.
We encourage you to take as many breaks as you need.
We recommend using a recognised streaming platform such as Twitch, YouTube or Facebook Live.
Doing something new is a great challenge! Look at these guides from Tiltify to help you get your head around it:
- A laptop or computer with a microphone and camera
- Streaming software like Streamlabs or OBS Studio
- Internet access and a Twitch, YouTube or Facebook account
- A Tiltify page
- Passion to support young people with cancer
Under 18s need to be under direct supervision of an adult to take part.
You can pick any time or date that suits you. You don’t have to do your stream all in one go, you can split up the time over a few days or weeks!
Fundraising
By setting up a fundraising page on Tiltify! You can also fundraise on JustGiving instead. Create some content to drum up some hype with your friends and followers. Ask them to join us or support us – you could even start a charity stream team!
Let your community know why Teenage Cancer Trust needs you - you’re raising money to help support every young person going through cancer.
You can also embed it into your live stream when the time comes.
Every £ you raise adds up! Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
So, whether you raise £5 or £500 through your streaming fundraiser, you’re supporting our mission to reach every young person going through cancer.
Safeguarding
It’s important to stay safe and feel comfortable while you are online. Here are some resources to make sure you read before your stream:
- Check Point is a charity that provides mental health resources for gamers and the gaming community.
- National Cyber Alliance has great advice.
- NSPCC have advice for how children can stay safe online. (Anyone under 18 years old will need to take part under the supervision of an adult.)
- BBC have some top tips.
