We have some incredible celebrity and music ambassadors that we’re proud to have on board. Teenage Cancer Trust ambassadors give their time to support the work we do, helping us raise our profile, spreading awareness and supporting our fundraising.

Meet our celebrity ambassadors
First names A to G
Abbey Clancy
Model, fashion designer and Strictly Come Dancing champion Abbey Clancy launched our Merseyside appeal in 2013 and became an Ambassador shortly after. Abbey represented Teenage Cancer Trust at the ICAP 30th Charity Day which led to a donation that funded all of the London Youth Support Co-ordinators for a whole year.
“As a mum myself this appeal is very close to my heart. These units provide a place where young people can relax, feel at home, and be normal. The amazing design and social spaces, like the dining area where families can cook meals, make all the difference. The people of Liverpool are renowned for their generosity. I am sure that they’ll make me proud to be a Liverpudlian and get behind this Appeal.”

The Connor Brothers
Internationally renowned artistic duo The Connor Brothers are amongst the most exciting and prolific names on the contemporary art scene since they rose to prominence in 2013. They are renowned for their exploration of the boundary between truth and fiction, and their masterful pairing of vintage icons with humorous captions.
Since 2020 they have created bespoke pieces and collaborations in support of Teenage Cancer Trust – two in collaboration with fellow ambassador Noel Gallagher as well as releasing two limited edition prints at the exclusive Bonhams After Hours event.
The Connor Brothers – Mike Snelle and James Golding - said: “We’ve worked closely with Teenage Cancer Trust over the last couple of years and we were honoured when they invited us to be ambassadors. Like so many, many, people we’ve experienced loved ones suffering from cancer, and being fathers ourselves we feel passionate about the important work Teenage Cancer Trust does. We look forward to being able to support the charity in whatever way we can.”

Dynamo
Dynamo became an Ambassador having been involved with us for many years – he has performed at numerous events on our behalf, has helped us raise tens of thousands of pounds and has put smiles on the faces of many patients by performing on some of our specialist units.
“I’m so proud to be part of this charity. Having spent a lot of time in hospital myself when I was a teenager I can really appreciate how having a charity like Teenage Cancer Trust is so beneficial, especially at a time when illness could make you feel so isolated.”

Eddie Redmayne
Oscar Award-winning actor Eddie Redmayne has been involved with Teenage Cancer Trust for more than a decade. He regularly visits our specialist units and meets with the young people being treated there and their families.
During the pandemic Eddie met some of our incredible staff and young people for a virtual Q&A session.

Eden Taylor-Draper
Actress Eden Taylor-Draper has been a regular on TV screens since joining the cast of Emmerdale in 2005, aged just eight years old. She became an ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust in 2021 after seeing first-hand what we do through her sister Francesca who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the age of 14.
Chessie stayed on the Teenage Cancer Trust ward at Leeds General Infirmary throughout her treatment and is now fully on the road to recovery.
Eden has since supported the charity’s emergency coronavirus appeal and supported the #Hand2Hold and #NotOK campaigns calling for greater emotional and mental health support for young people facing cancer.
Eden said: “When Teenage Cancer Trust asked me to become an ambassador I was absolutely thrilled.
“Having been through the journey with Chessie I am honoured I can help other families going through their own experiences.”

Edith Bowman
Edith has been an ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust since 2011 having previously supported our Shunburn campaign. She launched our East of Scotland appeal to build a new unit at Western General Hospital, which was opened at the end of 2013. She has supported our work tirelessly even donating to our celebrity auction The Star Boot Sale in 2021.
Edith said: “I’ve been involved with Teenage Cancer Trust for a number of years now and I helped launch the East of Scotland appeal in Edinburgh.
“Teenage Cancer Trust has just finished building a new unit at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. Another unit is due to be built at the new Sick Children’s Hospital in Edinburgh where young people with cancer can be treated in a home from home environment alongside others their own age. It’s such an important factor that allows them to be themselves, creating a positive attitude to fight cancer.
“Every teenager in the area who needs access to one of these units should have that right. We have a long way to go to raise the money needed, but together we can make this a reality.”

Ella Henderson
Ella Henderson has supported Teenage Cancer Trust with performances at the Ultimate Dinner Party during lockdown and a headline set at Michael Josephson’s Annual Charity Ballin October 2021 which raised more than £750,000 for good causes. She has also donated auction items to help fundraising efforts including personal calls to fans and Meet & Greet festival tickets.
Ella is one of the UK’s prime vocalists and songwriters. Over the past nine years she has achieved multi-platinum selling status, two BRIT Award nominations, a No. 1 debut album, five UK Top 10s and more than a billion streams.
Ella said: “As a teenager I was starting my journey I the music career. But to be facing cancer at this age is such a scary prospect.”

Ethan Payne
Ethan Payne, also known as Behzinga, is a YouTuber, streamer, and Internet personality. He has built up millions of views on his videos covering gaming, football, comedy, and fitness, and is a co-founder of the YouTube sensations Sidemen.
Ethan came on board as an ambassador in summer 2022 following the return of The Sidemen’s sold-out annual charity football fundraiser and again supported us via the match in 2023.
Having initially got involved with the charity after taking part in the virtual London Marathon in 2020, Ethan also created a limited-edition T-shirt with Gymshark which sold out in a staggering 22 minutes.
Ethan said: “Teenage Cancer Trust is such an important charity to me as I’ve had someone close to me face cancer and I know from that how much it can affect them and their families.
“The work they do is so important.”
Ethan became Teenage Cancer Trust’s first Content Icon in September 2023.

Example
Example’s been a keen supporter since headlining a night at our 2012 Royal Albert Hall shows. Since then he has helped raise tens of thousands of pounds and has visited various Teenage Cancer Trust units across the UK to meet young cancer patients.
“When Teenage Cancer Trust asked me to be an ambassador I was honoured! After meeting many of the young people at my Royal Albert Hall show and visiting 5 of the units to see the work they do first hand, there was no way I could refuse. It’s important to feel like an individual rather than a patient and to meet other young people who you can relate to, and Teenage Cancer Trust makes this happen.”

George Jaques
George Jaques is a director, actor, writer, and producer. At 16, he founded his company, Athenaeum Productions with his directorial debut feature ‘Black Dog’ being released in Autumn 2023.
As an actor, George has starred alongside Jude Law in the 12-hour live epic ‘The Third Day: Autumn’ opposite Samantha Morton in ‘The Serpent Queen’ and had a starring role in Sky’s ‘A Town Called Malice’.
He became an ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust in July 2023 and has supported by donating auction prizes including costumes from his shows, and spoken to young people at Find Your Sense of Tumour telling them about how rejection and resilience have shaped his journey so far within the entertainment industry.

Jack James Ryan
Jack James Ryan is an actor, most recently he starred as reformed bad-boy Jacob Hay on Coronation Street.
At the age of 19 Jack was himself diagnosed with testicular cancer and is passionate about removing the stigma of young people checking themselves regularly and seeking help. After getting the all clear he used his own experiences to write a play called “Me and My Left Ball” which told his story and how his diagnosis impacted those around him.
He came on board as an ambassador in June 2022 after being one of the headline speakers at the Under 18s Find Your Sense Of Tumour Event.
Jack said: “Having experienced cancer myself as a teenager I could not be prouder to support this great charity.
“I’m hoping that my own experiences will help other young people facing cancer and I’m really excited to meet some really brave young people and talented staff on Teenage Cancer Trust units.”

Jack Lisowski
Rising snooker star Jack Lisowski became involved with Teenage Cancer Trust as a way of marking his fifth year in remission. Having experienced cancer as a teenager, he was keen to give something back.
He was involved with the South West Appeal to fundraise for the unit at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre – along with friend Judd Trump he launched the appeal and then officially opened the unit along with the Duchess of York during the summer of 2014. He has also donated a competition-worn waistcoat to our fundraising auction The Star Boot Sale and called for extra support for young people during the pandemic through the Hand2Hold campaign.
Jack will be wearing the Teenage Cancer Trust logo on his match waistcoat at selected tournaments across the 2021/2 season.
Jack said: “When I was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago, I didn’t have access to the amazing facilities that Teenage Cancer Trust offers. It definitely would have made my experience a lot less painful. This is a very worthwhile course and one I’m really pleased to be supporting.”

Joe McElderry
X Factor winner Joe McElderry became an Ambassador after initially getting involved on a regional level with his local unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Newcastle, and officially opened our new unit at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle in 2012.
Joe has completed not one but three Great North Runs so far in support of us as well as visiting and even performing on our units. Joe set himself the task of raising £8,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust when he first came on board as an ambassador and North East patron and has now raised well over £30,000 and his total continues to grow.
Joe said: “I am truly honoured to be an ambassador. Teenage Cancer Trust has achieved so much in Newcastle and across the UK, and I hope I can help raise awareness and support for such a great cause.”

Judd Trump
Three-time World Number One ranked snooker player Judd Trump MBE became involved inthe charity through friend and fellow competitor Jack Lisowski.
He was involved with the South West Appeal to fundraise for the unit at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre – along with Jack he launched the appeal and then officially opened the unit along with the Duchess of York during the summer of 2014. Kasabian
Kasabian have been fantastic supporters of Teenage Cancer Trust for many years, helping raise significant funds and taking time to meet many young patients along the way.
It’s been incredible to have Kasabian rock our shows at the legendary Royal Albert Hall including in 2007, 2009, 2013, 2018 and most recently at the shows in 2023.

Kelly Jones
Lead singer of Stereophonics and part of Far From Saints, Kelly Jones, has been an avid supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust since he joined The Who onstage to perform a storming version of Substitute at the very first Teenage Cancer Trust gig back in 2000.
Since that inaugural show, Kelly’s been part of the Royal Albert Hall line up seven times including most recently debuting his new band Far From Saints at the 2023 shows. Kelly has also been instrumental in raising funds through the guestlist scheme and visited a number of our units for young people with cancer.

Kevin Bridges
Comedian Kevin Bridges is a long term supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust and has gone on to become an official Ambassador.
Not only has Kevin been involved in the comedy night of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall three times, hosting twice, he also dedicated one of his own arena nights at the Glasgow SECC to raise vital funds for us. Kevin joined forces with Patrons Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York and Roger Daltrey CBE to officially open a Teenage Cancer Trust Unit in Glasgow in 2016 and has visited young people on the unit regularly since.
Kevin said: “I’m proud to be an Ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust. I’ve performed at the Royal Albert Hall shows in London for the past few years and meeting people only a little younger than myself who’ve been landed with such a huge battle so early in their lives really hit home and made me feel very humble and grateful for everything I have in my life.
“Meeting young people on the units can be very sad but also uplifting as they stay positive and the support they have from their families, the staff and each other is inspirational. I’m honoured to be part of something so special.”

Liam Gallagher
Liam has been a long-standing supporter of the charity and has performed at our Royal Albert Hall shows with Oasis in 2002, and latterly in Beady Eye when he returned to our stage in 2011.
As well as supporting the charity as an artist in his own right, Liam has also done so through his clothing label Pretty Green, leveraging further funds for the charity through a number of bespoke menswear collections and raising over £65,000.

Matty Lee
Tokyo 2020 Olympic diving Champion Matty Lee MBE became an Ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust in summer 2022 after being the face of our Omaze Million Pound House giveaway campaign in Marbella and supporting the charity in the Star Boot Sale. Matty has donated a pair of his Team GB trunks, a pair of Commonwealth trunks and signed London Olympic pool tiles to the annual Star Boot Sales, helping to raising over £5,500 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Matty said “I’ve spent my entire life being part of team and I am so excited to be joining the Teenage Cancer Trust family.
“The work this charity does for people the same age as me who are going through incredible difficult times is incredible.”

Nicholas Hoult
BAFTA, Golden Globe and SAG Award nominee Nicholas Hoult has been involved with Teenage Cancer Trust since 2009 and becoming an ambassador the following year when he fronted our sun safety campaign, Shunburn.
In 2017 Nicholas took on The Rickshaw Run, a 3,000km adventure across India over two weeks, raising almost £20,000.
Nicholas has visited our units on numerous occasions and even invited our young people to attend one of his film premieres. He has also donated signed memorabilia to our fundraising campaign The Star Boot Sale.

Noel Fielding
Comedian Noel Fielding is a fantastic long-term supporter and has performed at many Royal Albert Hall comedy nights. Noel teamed up with Australian fashion brand Wah-Wah to create a David Bowie inspired jumper, raising more than £15,000 so far.
Noel Fielding said: “Teenage Cancer Trust is such an important charity; the work they have done is mind blowing. Roger Daltrey is like a rainbow riding a racehorse and the team who organise the Royal Albert Hall gigs are like magic foxes covered in diamonds. The charity is like a tiger in Chelsea boots. I am honoured they keep asking me to be involved. The whole thing is like a shimmering ball of magic.”

Noel Gallagher
Noel was one of Teenager Cancer Trust’s first Ambassadors and has headlined Teenage Cancer Trust shows at the Royal Albert Hall as part of Oasis and partnering up with other rock legends.
He even curated the line-up in 2013 after patron and The Who frontman, Roger Daltrey CBE asked him to step in on his behalf while on tour with The Who in the States. This was the first time Roger had invited anyone else to handpick the incredible line-up.
Noel has donated signed guitars, created a limited-edition pair of Adidas trainers to raise money for us and curated an artwork with The Connor Brothers which sold out in moments.
Noel said: “Teenage Cancer Trust do a brilliant job, and I’ve always been more than pleased to lend my support over the years. It’s also now a charity that is very close to the hearts and minds of dozens of acts in the world of music. It was an honour to have the task of putting together the bills for 2013’s series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall.”

Paul Weller
The Jam and Style Council frontman Paul Weller is a long term supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust and has headlined numerous Royal Albert Hall shows over the years.
He took part in the very first Royal Albert Hall show in 2000 and has been a strong supporter ever since, performing at numerous Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, supporting us through the guestlist scheme, and getting involved in many other fundraising initiatives.

Pete McKee
Pete McKee is a working artist from Sheffield, he has exhibited his work all over the world and gained a global following.
His work has attracted the attention of Sir Paul Smith, Warp Films, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Oasis and Arctic Monkeys and in 2010 Pete opened his own gallery ‘a Month of Sundays’ in his home city of Sheffield.
Pete has been supporting us since 2011, creating a series of limited edition sell out prints linked to Pet Shop Boys, The Who, Paul Weller, Kasabian, Wet Leg, Underworld and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds headline shows for us at the Royal Albert Hall.
In 2022 Pete created a book featuring 19 song lyrics performed at The Royal Albert Hall over the past 20 years to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. The book featured handwritten lyrics from Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Amy Macdonald, Suede, Courteeners, The Cure and many more. You can find out more here.

Ricky Wilson
Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson joined the Teenage Cancer Trust ambassadors in Autumn 2021. The band have performed at Teenage Cancer Trust’s iconic Royal Albert Hall shows twice – the first time in 2005 – and Ricky has been a dedicated supporter ever since.
As well as performing at events such as Carfest in aid of the charity Ricky fronted the BBC Lifeline Appeal in 2020, which came at a crucial time during the pandemic. He marked becoming an ambassador by co-hosting a Connor Brothers and Maddox Gallery fundraising alongside Roger Daltrey. Ricky has also represented Teenage Cancer Trust at the 2021 ICAP charity day which led to a donation that funded all of the London Youth Support Co-ordinators for a whole year.
Ricky said: “I have been involved with Teenage Cancer Trust for many years and have seen the great work they do first hand – from individual support to anyone who needs it through to the amazing units they provide around the country.
“During the pandemic cancer didn’t stop so neither did they and I’m thrilled to become an ambassador.”

Shane Meadows and Mark Herbert
BAFTA winning writer/director and producer team Shane Meadows and Mark Herbert made an incredible short film for Teenage Cancer Trust which was played at the Royal Albert Hall shows in 2014.
At the same time, we announced the news that the pair have become official ambassadors for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Shane Meadows said:
“If anyone I cared about needed treatment for cancer in their teenage years, I would do anything I could to get them treated in a Teenage Cancer Trust unit. The only way to ensure that every young person who needs their help get’s it, is to support Teenage Cancer Trust.”
Mark echoed:
“I cannot tell you how blown away I have been at the importance of the work they do. They keep the spirits up of the teenagers and their families, and make a traumatic time better.”

Sir Ben Kingsley
Sir Ben Kingsley is one of Britain’s most prolific actors, with a career spanning more than five decades.
The Oscar and two-time BAFTA winner has been a hands on supporter of the charity, donating numerous auction items from his illustrious career including signed scripts, cast and crew gifts from films and signed merchandise from appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Disney’s Prince of Persia.

Tom Grennan
Singer-songwriter Tom Grennan became a Teenage Cancer Trust Ambassador in summer 2022. The chart topper headlined the Royal Albert Hall shows in 2019 and has supported with his sold out 2021 and 2022 UK tour dates. Tom also released a single with Joel Corry, Lionheart, with proceeds coming to Teenage Cancer Trust.
Tom said: “When I was asked to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in 2019 it was a huge honour – I have huge respect for what Roger Daltrey has done in his career so it was easy to say yes. My grandad has battled cancer himself so I know how scary it can be. So I am so happy to be able to become an ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust and help them continue their fantastic work.”

Tim Lovejoy
Best known for presenting live weekend morning telly, including Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, and Sky’s Soccer AM, Tim Lovejoy has done an incredible job compering Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall three years in a row.
Tim became an ambassador in 2016. He said: “I’m happy to do anything I can to help Teenage Cancer Trust, and am proud to have been made an Ambassador. My brother died of cancer when he was 37, and I can tell you, cancer is lonely. I can’t imagine how much worse it must be to have cancer as a teenager. Cut off from friends due to gruelling treatment, they can be isolated, thinking there are no other young people like them out there.
“I’ve visited a Teenage Cancer Trust unit and I saw how well the money is spent. There is such a positive atmosphere there. It was inspiring.”

Vicky McClure
BAFTA winning and Nottingham born actress Vicky McClure MBE opened our unit at Nottingham City Hospital and celebrated the beginning of building work on our unit at the Queen’s Medical Centre with her fellow East Midlander Shane Meadows.
In December 2022 she curated an event in her hometown, called This Is Nottingham, a nod to her BAFTA winning role in This Is England. The gig was headlined by MOBO winning rapper Bru-C, aimed at celebrating young people in the city.
Vicky said: “I was very proud when Teenage Cancer Trust asked me to become involved in the East Midlands Appeal a few years ago. Being a teenager is hard enough without having to face cancer. I have seen first-hand what a difference the charity’s units make and I am honoured that I can now call myself an ambassador.”
Vicky also became our first icon in November 2022.
