Ethan Payne, also known as Behzinga, is a co-founder and member of the YouTube collective the Sidemen, known for their gaming, sport and comedy content.

Ethan Payne - Teenage Cancer Trust Ambassador

Ethan first became involved with Teenage Cancer Trust in 2020 when he was asked to run the London Marathon, which became a Virtual event due to the pandemic. He documented the process of training for the 26.2 mile run in his Youtube series “How To Be Behzinga” - which in turn led to him launching a limited edition T-shirt with Gymshark which sold out in just 23 minutes and raised more than £3,500!

Ethan became the charity’s Content Icon in September 2023 having become an ambassador a year before, when he helped Teenage Cancer Trust become one of the the beneficiaries for the Sidemen’s 2022 charity football match, raising over £1m in total and breaking a Guinness World Record for the most watched live sports event ever on Youtube.

Sidemen FC’s 2023 Charity match sold out 62,000 tickets at the London Stadium in less than 90 minutes, again attracting some of the biggest names from the streaming platform around the globe to take part.

I’m hoping that I can raise awareness of this amazing charity.

Ethan said: “I’ve always been extremely proud to champion Teenage Cancer Trust - originally as an ambassador, and now as their first Content Icon.

“The Sidemen’s audience has lots of teenagers and young adults in it, so I’m hoping that I can raise awareness of this amazing charity and make people more aware of the signs and symptoms that could make them see their GP earlier. Even though cancer in this age group is rare, it’s so important that they seek help as soon as possible and receive the support they need to navigate the challenges they face when being treated for cancer.”
