This wonderful looping 100km route takes you from Kendal through Garburn Pass and into Ambleside. After the half way point by the idyllic Lake Windermere, you’ll encounter forests and nature reserves, with some stunning views.
The route is based around the Kendal basecamp, where you’ll get full support and hospitality, including optional camping and hostel accomodation. With Full, Half, Marathon, Quarter and 10k distances options available, there’s a Lake District Challenge for everyone.

Take on the challenge for young people with cancer and your entry will include free food and drink at regular rest stops, and support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, a t-shirt, and a medal to celebrate your achievement!
