Lee Marfleet
Clinical Information Editor
My role
My role as Clinical Information Editor involves supporting Rosie Vare (Clinical Information Manager) in creating and updating high-quality, age-appropriate, accessible cancer information for young people with cancer.
We work on both digital and printed information resources. You can find all of our digital information here and you can see our books about cancer here.
To better understand what information we need to provide I work with health and social care professionals and young people with cancer. I also work closely with young people to review all the information we produce to make sure it’s as accessible and useful for young people as possible. Find out more about how we produce our information below.
If you have any questions or ideas about our information we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch on [email protected] and I’ll get back to you.
How we produce information
We follow a strict process when we produce information for young people. We have to make sure that the information we provide answers the questions young people might have about their symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and what happens once they’ve finished treatment.
We follow the PIF Tick process and involve young people and health and social care professionals in every stage of our information development.
