These young people who were all supported by Teenage Cancer Trust have shared their leukaemia stories, in their own words.

Leukaemia is the name for a group of cancers that start in your bone marrow and affect your blood cells. The most common types in young people are acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and acute myeloid leukaemia.

They hope that by sharing their leukaemia stories they can help show people what it’s like to have leukaemia when you’re young and reassure other young people facing cancer that they are not alone.
