They were also impressed with the engaging and bespoke fundraising ideas that we discussed with them and, with Teenage Cancer Trust units situated near their key sites, believed that colleagues would feel motivated to raise funds to help local young people.

Staff at E.ON have really welcomed us as their charity partner and within a couple of weeks of the launch we already had a team of managers from the West Midlands cycling from Coventry to Dusseldorf and raising over £5,000.

Amy Cross, Senior Community Relations Executive at E.ON explained:

We were so excited to be working together with Teenage Cancer Trust. We’re such a diverse company with colleagues based right across the UK and we wanted a charity that we felt would unite everybody. With Teenage Cancer Trust, we worked with the Partnerships Team on a national level whilst also receiving support for our different sites and showing that the money we raised made a difference locally - and that was really important to our colleagues.
