Their Royal Highnesses led a fascinating conversation shining a light on the challenges young people face during the coronavirus crisis, from treatment delays to shielding. Lead Nurse Dave and Youth Support Coordinator Steve, based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, also joined to call and shared how Teenage Cancer Trust is continuing to support young people through these challenging times.
Young people told the Princesses about some of the amazing ways that their Youth Support Coordinators are bringing them together online, from quizzes to virtual escape rooms to body image workshops.
Their Royal Highnesses are honorary Patrons and lifelong supporters of Teenage Cancer Trust. Over the years they have visited many of our units across the country, including the official opening of UCLH.
